Explore Cape Breton - a day trip from Seaweed and Sod Farm B&B
Seaweed and Sod Farm Bed & Breakfast has created a series “Day Trips” that are perfect for exploring Cape Breton Island while staying at our Cape Breton Accommodation.
Cape Breton’s shoreline is covered with beautiful beaches. Today you will explore two of our favourite beaches on the Atlantic Coast. The first one is in Gabarus, a small fishing village and afterwards you will head about 10 minutes up the road to Belfry Beach. Keep an eye out for Gannets, seals, eagles, and other shore birds.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE DAY
Pack a lunch (there’s a grocery store in North Sydney). Grab your beach towels, water shoes, and sunscreen.
