The rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of amenities (lots of books and DVDs, which helped when we decided to stay in). The view from the common room/the front porch is worth the price of admission. Mitch, who is from Cape Breton, felt like he had seen a completely new part of the island. Veronica, who is from Mississauga, felt like she was in Scotland. We loved it and are planning to return later in the summer. You'll come for the views, but you'll stay (and come back) for Ralphie, the Seaweed and Sod Farm's "customer service cat."… Collapse

We had a great overnight stay, such a peaceful location in the country! The house is beautifully laid out with lots of space for guests, and Rowan particularly enjoyed the big bath tub! Terri was extremely diligent with Covid protocols and the house was spotless. Thanks for a great stay, Terri!

The location and room were beautiful, with views of the Bras D’Or in the distance. I tried to befriend the llama and horses, though, I’m not sure if they were keen on being my friend (haha). They were extremely cute to look at even though it was from a distance ;P. Terri made a wonderful breakfast in the morning and was so accommodating to my dietary restrictions.
